So it is currently my final semester at Ball State University (which if you don’t know I’m going for Interior Design) and thus we are starting our final capstone project. We are to come up with a concept and redesign the existing Ball State Art Museum. So far we have had to do lots of research on the current building and also on products that are available that we think we might use. My idea for my concept is ‘Artistic Stimulation’ because I want the museum to have a lot of interaction included in the galleries. Here is a mood board I put together to show my concept:

Well, that’s what I have so far that I’m willing so reveal, I hope you like it!
So I know it’s been awhile since my last post… I apologize for I have been rather busy putting together another site for my personal portfolio! (I will make a post about that once it’s finished!) I have actually been making a lot of things as of late, but have not really had time to photograph them until today, so now I can post! Anyways, there are a few items I want to talk about:
So I do believe I have made the longest scarf in the whole world… This thing is about 10′ long! I used the crochet puff stitch which is really thick, so as a result this scarf is super warm! I can wrap it around my neck about five times, but I think it looks adorable wrapped three times with a bit hanging down. This same scarf is currently for sale in my Etsy Shop so if you like it take a look!
Yeah I’ve been crocheting like mad… it’s winter. :]
I’ve really been working on my hat making skills as of late and am pretty proud of this one! Finally I have accomplished a slouchy hat!
I’ve also been making a lot of wrap bracelets! I love these, and though I make them with intentions of putting them on my Etsy Shop, I end up keeping about half of them! There are a few different ones in the shop though so take a look!
Well that’s most of what I have been working on except of course my granny square blanket… I know I should be done with it by now, but I decided last minute to add another detail to it that is turning out to be quite tedious work… I’ll be sure to post as soon as its done!
So a while back I posted about a project I was starting in which I was going to attempt making a blanket using granny squares. Well I have finally finished what I consider to be the proper amount of squares to create a small throw blanket. Here they are:
Lovely yes? I’m working pretty diligently on this project so you can expect to see a post about the finished project here in the near future!
So as of late I’ve been pretty busy making jewelry for my Etsy Shop! I’ve added six new items! I’ve recently got my hands on a bunch of pretty feathers, so one of the items is a necklace featuring those. I loved it so much I had to make one for myself to keep, so I’m hoping you all will like it as well! I’ve also been really busy constructing wrap bracelets since they’ve become so popular. Check them out!
If you like what you see then take a look! Etsy Shop
I know it’s been awhile since I’ve posted, but my camera USB cable went MIA for about two weeks and I just now have found it! (it was under the sofa go figure). So anyways, I promised I would take my roommate/best friend to my favorite Cincinnati thrift stores over Christmas break, and a few days ago we finally made the trip.
I took her to Valley Thrift Store and also the Goodwill right next to it. Here are my finds for the day!
Travel Case: $2
This little number is some sort of hair straightener case. I really love the fringe it has going on and I figured it would be nice for transporting my straightener and makeup!
Wilsons Leather Jacket: $8
I know I know, another leather jacket… what can I say, I’m a collector. This one is Wilsons like my purple one and I really wanted one that was not a blazer style.
I found this cute yellow and grey scarf at Goodwill. I know I’ve also got tons of ‘decorative’ scarves, but as I said before, I’m a collector. I can’t help it. :]
Well, that sums up my most current finds. My friend also bought a teal blueish colored Wilson’s leather jacket. I wish I had gotten a picture of it. But that is all for now!
